Who am I?

 

I am an Ocean Literacy specialist with a Master's in Marine Planning from the Universities of the Azores, Seville, and Venice, and over 10 years of international experience in ocean education projects.
 

  • I co-authored the UNESCO Blue Curriculum, a global tool that guides the inclusion of ocean sustainability content in school curricula.

  • Former UNESCO staff (2018–2023) worked on the creation and expansion of the Global Network of Blue Schools, supporting educators in over 50 countries.

  • I am an independent consultant working at the intersection of education, culture, and the ocean, strengthening inclusive strategies and connecting schools, territories, and public policies.

  • I mentor female leaders in the Blue Economy and Education for Sustainable Development.

  • I have collaborated on global marine conservation projects, strategic ESG consultancies, and impact initiatives to align companies with SDG 14 – Life Below Water.
